Nissa Judd
Founder & CEO
Nissa Judd has a long history in the telecommunications industry. After her time at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Nissa joined Mid-Plains Communications as a customer service representative. Over the next several years she received multiple promotions and was integral in the transition when the company was acquired by Telephone and Data Systems (TDS).
In 2007, Nissa left TDS to take on a managerial role with a local structured cabling and security systems integrator where she increased net income by over 10%. By focusing on reducing waste and increasing productivity, she took the company from a loss to a profit.
Capitalizing on her success as an Operations Manager, Nissa and her husband combined their knowledge and dedication to form Integral Building Systems in 2008. IBS is a single source for structured cabling, access control, camera surveillance, intrusion alarm, and audio/visual systems. The company has grown from 6 to over 20 full-time employees in just 6 years under Nissa’s leadership.
2 years later, Nissa and Kevin were presented with a unique opportunity to expand into the telephone systems business. Thru a partnership with a respected company in Texas, Affiliated Communications of Wisconsin was born. Nissa now serves as President for both Integral Building Systems and Affiliated Communications of WI. The companies combined serve in excess of 1,000 clients across southern Wisconsin and neighboring states.
In addition to her busy professional career, Nissa also sits on the board for Middleton Outreach Ministry. MOM is a non-profit based in Middleton, WI whose mission is to prevent homelessness and hunger throughout Middleton, West-Madison, and Cross-Plains. She also supports JDRF, Gio’s Garden, Gilda’s Club, and other local charities, further proving her dedication to giving back and taking social responsibility as a leader of the community.
Personally, Nissa is a wonderful mother of two daughters and supportive wife to Kevin. Life balance is extremely important to Nissa and taking care of her family is top priority.
